Mike Gibson: Joint owner and Director of Connectivity Associates, a chartered town planner with over 25 years’ proven success in consultancy. Mike helps his clients to increase the value of their land and to deliver their development proposals with his planning expertise.
Andy Foster: Managing Director of Andy Foster Architects based in Chester. Andy’s practise designs and delivers commercial projects for a range of northwest businesses.
Edward Greeves: Director of Morris & Co, Chartered Accountants, based at Cheshire Oaks. Edward advises sole traders, partnerships and limited companies on property and taxation matters.
Mike will explain the principles of the current planning system, summarise what may or may not require planning permission and, using examples, give some helpful advice how to obtain planning permission and avoid pitfalls for those taking on new business premises.
Andy will discuss how to make your business premises work hard for your business from the points of view of image, productivity and value.
Edward will discuss the most appropriate ways to purchase commercial properties dependent on your circumstances and advise on the claims that can be made for capital allowances. Edward will also discuss exit routes and Capital Gains Tax implications relating to commercial property.
