Frodsham law firm Rowlinsons Solicitors has been shortlisted in the Law Society’s prestigious Excellence Awards, the highest accolade for law firms in England and Wales.
The Private Client Team has been nominated in the Excellence in Private Client Practice category.
Andrew Graves, Managing Director commented “Our Private Client Department deals with a wide variety of matters and our nomination focused on a number of successes and initiatives. In particular the growth of the department, our level of expertise, the investment in staff training, the overall quality of service provided and our efforts to assist the local community and its charities. Indeed through charitable legacies we have raised over £3m for Cancer Research UK in the last two years.”
The Law Society Excellence Awards are the most recognised and prestigious awards in the legal profession and there were a significant number of applicants in the category. The firm has been shortlisted with just 7 other firms including the likes of global firm Mischon de Reya.
“This is a great reflection on the team and the service that they provide to our client base. We are very much looking forward to attending the awards dinner in London in October and will keep you updated. Fingers crossed it will be a positive outcome, but it is fantastic for Rowlinsons to be recognised at this level” continued Andrew.
Law Society president Christina Blacklaws said: “There are more than 9,000 firms and 140,000 solicitors in England and Wales, so to be shortlisted for an Excellence Award is to be recognised as being among the best of the best.
“All the firms and solicitors who are shortlisted should be congratulated for the work they do day-in day-out to support their clients, many of whom are navigating complex and challenging legal problems.
Winners are announced at the Law Society’s Excellence Awards ceremony in London on 17 October.
