Wear Something Yellow to Work Day !

Friday 2 March 2012

Join offices and workplaces across the UK and get your colleagues wearing yellow to raise money for the Great Daffodil Appeal.

Not only will it brighten up the office and team spirit, it will also raise much-needed funds to help our Marie Curie Nurses provide more free care to people with terminal cancer and other illnesses.

How it works

Save the date
Put Friday March 2, 2012 in your colleagues’ diaries to wear something yellow and raise money for our Marie Curie Nurses.

March 2, 2012 is the official Wear Something Yellow to Work day, but feel free to choose any day in March that suits your business.

Wear something yellow to work
Wear a yellow hat, tie, wig or pair of shoes – anything goes as long as it’s yellow.

Collect donations
Ask colleagues to donate £2 to dress up or down in yellow for the day. You can also set a penalty donation for anyone who is not wearing yellow.

Wearing yellow isn’t your company’s thing?

Don’t worry, there are lots of other fundraising activities to get your colleagues involved in supporting the Great Daffodil Appeal 2012.

Register here today and we’ll send you a fundraising pack including bright ideas for fundraising, posters to promote the activity and a box of daffodils.
