Caremark and The New Creation Centre

Care and Creative Centre, Caremark Firm Open: New Jobs and New Hope for Ellesmere Port.

A FORMER bar and nightclub premises in Ellesmere Port which is recorded in the Guinness Book of Records as once housing the longest bar in Europe during the Victorian era has been transformed into a Care and Creative Centre.

The building in Station Road, which has been vacant since The Platinum Lounge closed in 2008, was acquired last year by the New Creation Centre, Redeemed Christian Church of God to provide various social services for the community. It has now been refurbished and has recently been awarded planning permission for use as a Community Centre and Place of worship by the Cheshire West and Chester Council.

The building now provides office premises for Caremark (Cheshire West and Chester) a domiciliary care provider newly registered with the Care Quality Commission, and the New Creation Centre- Redeemed Christian Church of God which is developing services to provide care and support for the community.

Caremark is a national organisation that cares and supports thousands of people across the UK, and is expanding into Cheshire West and Chester. Caremark have already recruited 30 care and support workers from the Ellesmere Port and Chester area. However, tremendous growth is anticipated and there is urgent need to recruit and train high quality staff to deliver a range of care and support services in Chester, Ellesmere Port, Neston and the surrounding towns and villages. Caremark will provide full training so experience though valuable is not critical. They are looking for caring and trustworthy individuals who seek to develop their skill sets and accomplish their life aspiration.”

The New Creation Centre’s mission is to change lives and build communities with God’s love, bringing hope to people.
