With particular emphasis towards Twitter, Engage Web will explain how increased brand awareness can be achieved through social media. We talk through best practises, giving practical examples and tips attendees can take away, as well as warning of the dangers of getting it wrong with real world case studies on what can happen, and how to avoid those mistakes.
About the Presenters
Lianne Wilkinson is the MD and co-founder of Engage Web and has more than a decade of marketing experience. After leaving her role as Operations Director at the UK’s largest Internet marketing agency, she has steered Engage Web into its sixth year of trading and grown the Ellesmere Port business into an international brand, with clients in the USA, Canada and Australia.
Darren Jamieson is Technical Director and co-founder of Engage Web and has worked in the field of online marketing since 2000. Starting as the in-house web designer for GAME 14 years ago, he has designed and developed websites for clients such as The Environment Agency, and worked in online campaigns for brands such as Sony and Manchester United.
Mark Black is the project manager at Engage Web, and looks after the SEO and Social Media campaigns and strategies of clients, ensuring they’re fulfilled on-time and within brief, and takes design and development projects from proposal through to completion.
The seminar will discuss things such as increasing your Twitter follower count, using and creating hashtags (and what not to do), using tools such as Hootsuite and Plugins to schedule social media updates, best practises on engaging with followers, using topical news stories, as well as hints on tips on how to increase your brand awareness, and how to achieve more reach via social media.
