About the Presenter

Julia Worthington has been a fundraiser for over 17 years for various charities, most recently as Head of Fundraising in the North West for The Prince’s Trust, a charity known for the professionalism of its corporate relationships. Early on in her career Julia worked for 7 years in a corporate environment, which helped her understand the drives behind CSR for many companies.  Working with corporates and helping them to develop a win/win relationship with the charities she has worked for, Julia has built up a knowledge of CSR from the charity side and understands how much a company can get out of that relationship, one of the relationships she account managed won both a national and international award for the  business, escalating both the profile of the Managing Director of the business and the profile of a small international charity.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is about understanding your business impact on the wider world and how you can use this in a positive way. This seminar explains how you can exploit the benefits that CSR can bring. How it can impact on your staff motivation and loyalty, business profitability, PR, community cohesion, win Awards or help with winning tenders.

The presentation will:
