The Morgan awards……

WIN UP TO £20k FOR YOUR BUSINESS

The Morgan Foundation Entrepreneur Awards 2010 are open for entries until 10th September 2010. There are five categories and 14 cash prizes to be won, from £10k for Best Young Entrepreneur to £20k for Best New Business. In addition, the winners and runners-up will have access to a package of valuable professional services, including free banking advice from the main sponsor Barclays. Full details about the Awards can be found at the dedicated website: www.mf-awards.co.uk .

The Awards are open to charities, social enterprises, businesses and entrepreneurs from Merseyside, Cheshire, Shropshire, North Wales and the Wolverhampton area.

Last year Liverpool-based Greengrape Solutions, a specialist recruitment and training company, won the Best New Business category. Emma Loizidis, one of the company’s founders says, “The Morgan Foundation Entrepreneur Award was, for us, a chance to elevate our business and really celebrate our success in our first two years of business. We certainly did not expect to win!

“The prize enabled us to expand our existing team helping us to push our business forward, to market our services further and to tap into the expertise of some really inspirational and knowledgeable mentors. We would encourage anybody who is proud of their entrepreneurial achievement, to grab the opportunity with both hands and enter this year’s awards…you never know, you just might win!”

The Awards are free to enter and it’s simple to apply. Entrants have until 10th September 2010 to submit their applications.  A panel of independent business leaders and experts will select the finalists, who will then have the opportunity to present in person at the final judging in October. The winners and runners-up will be announced live at a Gala Awards Dinner at the Carden Park Hotel on 11th November 2010.
