Time to get involved for the good of local charities?

Please join us for this months seminar being hosted by The Lord Lieutenant David Briggs on Thursday 18th April at The Chester Grosvenor Spa & Hotel

As a society, we are relying more on services provided by charities, community groups and the voluntary sector. Some of these groups need help to survive and/or increase what they do. Businesses can help and many already do; a problem is that more businesses are needed and a more focused approach to connecting businesses to charities would help too.

Chester Voluntary Action (CVA) manage SkillShare and act as an independent broker between the two parties. SkillShare is a collaborative initiative between several private, public and civil society organisations.

Their mission is to support Cheshire voluntary, community and faith organisations by facilitating the provision of free professional, business and support services. Our aim is to help those organisations obtain the help and support they need to achieve their charitable goals.

To find out how you and your business could help to make a positive impact, please join us at this months educational seminar being held on Thursday 18th April at The Chester Grosvenor and Spa Hotel, hosted by David Briggs M.B.E., K.St.J (Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire) and Joanne Walton of Chester Voluntary Action and Skillshare coordinator.

David and Joanne will help you understand how you can make a positive impact in your community and the benefits to business, employees and local charities.

“SkillShare brings together the passion and expertise of the voluntary and community sector with the skills and experience of local businesses to help create more successful and sustainable organisations.”
